2012 PGBA State Meeting Highlights

PA Guernsey Breeders and friends joined at the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona, PA on April 20-21 2012 for a weekend renewing friendships and celebrating the past year's accomplishments. Here are a few of the highlights:

2012 Walk of Fame Award :
Marilyn Hill of Hillview Acres Farm in Sandy Lake, PA was honored as the 2012 recipient of the Walk of Fame Award. Marilyn has worked for many years with the Mercer-Northwest Guernsey Breeders' to recognize and encourage Guernsey youth in the district including coordinating the yearly banquet were each youth is honored. Marilyn has also give countless hours of service to the PGBA including national convention planning, helping with youth programs, supporting the Craft Auction, and volunteering at the Ag Progress Days milkshake stand.
