Hotel reservations should be made directly with the Eden Resort & Suites:  222 Eden Road, Lancaster, PA  17601, (717)569-6444.  Room rates are $109 + tax for a standard and $169.95 + tax for a 2 room suite w/3 Queens.  Mention that you are with the "American Guernsey Association National Guernsey Convention" to obtain these rates.  Rooms are blocked until 5 p.m. on May 21, 2010.  The discount room rates will be honored through June 24th.  However, room availability is only guaranteed until May 21st.  Be sure to book your room early as this is a busy travel season in the Lancaster area.  Link to Best Western Eden Resort & Suites

Travel Information

If flying, we recommend flying into Philadelphia International Airport and taking the Septa Airport Express Train (purchase ticket on site) from the airport to the Philadelphia 30th & Market Street Station.  From there, you can take Amtrak to the 53 McGovern Avenue Station in Lancaster.  Amtrak offers a 10% discount off the lowest available rail fare to Lancaster, PA between June 13, 2010 –June 24, 2010.  To book your reservation call Amtrak at 1 (800) 872-7245.  Please refer to Convention Fare Code X31C-987 when making your reservation.  Shuttle service is provided, courtesy of the Eden Resort, to and from the Lancaster Train Station with prior arrangements.  Contact Michael Ritter at (717)560-8407 two weeks prior to arrival for scheduling.
